Naval History and Heritage Command — Nationwide Documentation Initiative (Completed September 2025) Avant-Garde Films completed a multi-site documentation project across sixteen U.S. locations, photographing more than 250 historically significant artifacts. The work combined precise capture, coordinated site logistics, and archival-quality imaging for long-term preservation and public presentation.
National Park Service — Alaska Digital Imaging Project (2007) Photographed by Brian Sendler, this project documented over 1,600 museum artifacts across Juneau, Sitka, Anchorage, Gustavus, and Fairbanks, Alaska. The work supported institutional archiving, research access, and long-term digital preservation.
Denver Stadium Transition Documentation — 1999–2001 (Deconstructing Mile High Project) Avant-Garde Films maintains a comprehensive photographic archive documenting the transition from the original Mile High Stadium to Empower Field at Mile High. Originally presented through the “Deconstructing Mile High” project, the archive captures construction, deconstruction, and community perspectives during a pivotal period in Denver’s history. Exploring how artificial intelligence can reshape storytelling, visual production, historical reconstruction, and experimental cinema. This work focuses on integrating emerging AI tools with traditional filmmaking pipelines, opening entirely new creative directions and expanded resources for modern visual media, while continuing to provide documentary and historical media services for institutional and archival projects. The vision includes providing a gateway for filmmakers to showcase and sell both traditional and AI-generated work—advancing the next evolution of cinematic creativity.
